The Shuttle “Rocketed” Our World event was held this evening at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center to commemorate those who worked on the program and celebrate the legacy left by the worlds first reusable spacecraft.
The turnout for the event was the best I have seen in some time. An early estimation put the total number of attendees expected at 5,000, though that number has not yet been verified.
The event was spread throughout the Space & Rocket Center. Multiple locations had live music, astronaut autograph sessions, and food aplenty!
The event was great and hopefully will give the Space & Rocket Center some great ideas for how best to commemorate thirty years of Space Camp next year!
