Space Camp currently has a promotion going where you can get $200 off of youth Space Camp and Aviation Challenge programs!

If you’re in the Huntsville, AL area and are thinking of sending your child to Space Camp (specifically Space Camp as non of the other programs are eligible, it would seem), you might be able to get the trip for your kid at a cheaper rate than the standard $999.00.

There’s currently an auction going on eBay for one tuition to Space Camp. Even better, all proceeds go to charity.

The only caveat is that you have to pay for the auction in person in Huntsville (details are in the auction listing. As always, make sure you know what you’re bidding on before placing a bid).

The trip to camp must be used sometime during this summer.

Also, when deciding how much you’d like to bid, don’t forget that you might qualify for the $300 discount, making this auction worth only $699.00. But it’s all for charity, so who can put a price on it, really (though I pretty much just did in this post).

Space Camp is offering $300 off Space Camp and Aviation Challenge programs to workers and contractors at NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center and the U.S. Army Redstone Arsenal, both active and retired.

You must cite source code “CRD8” when making your child’s reservation.

Reservations must be made no later than July 18, 2008 and your child must attend a program no later than August 22, 2008.

If you're going to Space Camp or Mach I with a friend, you can get a $100 discount when you call. They call it an "alumni discount." I'm not sure how that works, exactly. I guess presumably you're going back with someone that was on your team during a previous session. They tell you to call (1-800-63-SPACE, of course) for that one, so you can ask for a clarification.

Finally, new campers to Space Camp or Aviation Challenge Mach I can receive either a $150 gift certificate to the gift shop, an iPod Shuffle with a thumb drive, or a flight suit when you sign up with the promo code EDGE. This discount also expires on May 15th.

I received a post card in the mail the other day from Space Camp.

They're offering $100 off of tuition and a free flight suit or clothing pack! That's a fine deal on its own, but seeing as discounts have been fewer in number lately, you should jump on it if you're planning on going next Summer! Naturally, this offer is not good on a few camps, including Adult ASA. Not that I dwell on that!

While it took a few weeks, I received three in the mail just the other day! And that same day, I received a coupon for $150 off tuition via email (too bad it's not good for an adult program) as a result of having signed up for the magnets!
