posted here at CNN.com and elaborated further
in this story has Gene Cernan quoted as
saying, "We need to give the kids, the teenagers,
a piece of the action."
...No arguement here! And how about college students! Don't forget me...err..I mean them!
The articles also mentioned Space Camp, and included the following information:
Space Camp registration is up 22 percent over this same time in 2001, and there are no plans to repeat last year's Christmastime discount, which was instituted to boost enrollment.
So, I guess if you were waiting to see if there would be another discount of the same magnitude as last year, don't hold your breath.

And that's it! It must be postmarked by December 31, 2002 though, so hurry!

...It's a shame they won't be handing out the trips in time for the December 29 - January 3 session! Speaking of which, there are still a few spots open for ASA/Adult ASA...If you're not sure what to get your child/significant other for Christmas...give the gift of Space Camp!
Additionally, if you're into strategy games, Moonbase Commander is certainly worth a look. It's not neary as complex as other games in the genre, but in its simplicity, it is surprisingly addicting. Don't believe me? Try the demo.
