Space Camp
Ages 9-11
In just six days, Space Camp® will transform its participants from ordinary kids to astronaut trainees with mission experience. For those attending Space Camp, not even the sky is the limit!
Space Camp Gates

At Space Camp, every activity is a learning adventure. Don't worry, you'll be having so much fun, you won't notice! Try your hand at flying the space shuttle, going on a space walk, jumping on the Moon, and climbing a mountain on Mars. Learn how rockets fly, why airplanes have wings, and what microgravity is. Then, find out what it takes to work in mission control or build a robot. Enjoy a tour of Rocket Park and discover the history of spaceflight and how mankind has put people into space and onto the Moon.
Flight Deck
Such an adventure wouldn't be complete wihtout fully submersing participants in a space environment. While at Space Camp, trainees live in a futuristic dormitory, sample space food, and meet friends who share the same enthusiasm for space, science, and having fun! Each team is assigned to well-trained counsellors who double as mentors and teachers throughout the week.

Parents, upon returning home, your child will have flown in space, walked on the Moon, and collected soil from Mars! They will also be well versed in NASA-speak as they share stories of the MMU on their EVA during an STS mission (sorry, translation guides for parents are not provided)! It is an experience that will last long after your new astronaut returns home.

While program content remains similar from year-to-year, every expereince at Space Camp is different. Trainees will remember new things, have different missions, and make new friends each time they return to camp. These expereinces build upon one another, often making consecutive trips to Space Camp better than the ones before!
